In my country, the weather really only has two moods: sunny or rainy. Some people just call it monsoon season.
I’ve had the chance to experience autumn and winter before, and I loved them both. There’s a kind of calming stillness in those seasons that stays with you, whether it’s the rustle of falling leaves or the silence of fresh snow. If I could, I’d pick those as my favorites.
But since we don’t have them here, I find myself drawn to the rainy season instead. Rainy days bring back memories and make me slow down. The sound of rain on the windows always puts me in a reflective mood. The cool air is comforting, almost like an excuse to stay in, curl up with a book and a cup of tea, or sometimes even watch a horror show while the storm rumbles outside.
For me, rainy days are quiet days, and I love them.
How about you? Is there a particular season that stirs your emotions or makes you feel most at home?
