I decided to head to Ikoma Station after randomly coming across it online. There was this beautiful shrine that caught my eye, so I thought I’d check it out. But what I didn’t expect was a small amusement park hidden just above the station and honestly, it turned out to be so much fun. It brought back all these nostalgic childhood memories. Some of the rides were simple but really lovely, especially the ones where you could see Osaka city from up high. The view was amazing.

When I finally reached the shrine, everything just felt different. Calm. Still. A little surreal. I’ve visited a few shrines before, but I don’t know why this one left such a strong impression. Maybe it was because there weren’t many people around, or maybe the whole place just had a softer vibe.
What I really loved was the entrance, the stone steps, the lanterns lining the way, and all the nature surrounding it. Everything blended together so beautifully. It felt like I had stepped out of the busy world and into something much quieter, much more peaceful.
I really appreciated that moment. It felt beautiful.
